airport redevelopment projects

Project Architect: Marco Colonnelli
Project Team: Fiore Torchia, Francesco Pansieri, Michele Alessandrini

The Alitalia “Le Navi” VIP lounge, located at Fiumicino Airport Terminal 3, Rome, is on two levels and occupies an area of approximately 320 sqm. On the Ground Floor, you'll find a bar and a sitting area; the First Floor is an open space waiting area. The main design feature is the new staircase, cladded in white ceramic with a tempered laminated glass balaustrade.

Some areas, delimited by wooden partitions, offer comfortable new leather armchairs, Georgy design manufactured by Natuzzi, and new tables in solid bleached maple wood. Design items like Sara table lamps and Avico hanging lamps by Fontana Arte are amongst the main features of the new lighting system.

A new refreshments area was also provided and furnished with a new bespoke bar counter and high tables with stools.
